The Ruler of the Seas

Leviathan is the other name of Livyatan. It is a prehistoric whale which lived 13 million years ago. It was the ruler of the seas. Livyatan was as strong as Megalodon and Mosasaurus. It weighed as much as 50 tons. It was a huge sea monster. It was the largest predatory whale.

Livyatan had the longest teeth among the sea animals. It ate the giant baleen whales, smaller whales, seals, sharks, and dolphins.

However, this sea monster went extinct because of food drop such as whales or seals. When the sea temperature changed, whales and dolphins died and so Livyatan couldn’t find seafood easily. And it died. It was explored in Peru and Italy.

Do you know about sharks? If you don’t know, listen to me now. Their characteristics: They eat fish, birds, turtles, and rubbish and everything in the sea. They have a lot of sharp teeth and they don’t brush their teeth. They live until they are 100 years old. They don’t see colours very well. They are big sea animals and grow up like a school bus. THE UNSINKABLE SHIP

The RMS Titanic was the largest ship in the world. RMS means “Royal Mail Ship”. Titanic means “huge, giant, and massive”. Its length was 269.1 metres and the ship used 825 tons of coal every day. There were 10.000 lamp bulbs on the ship; so, it was more like a star in the Atlantic Ocean. There were 840 rooms on the ship. 416 was for the First-Class passengers;162 was for Second Class passengers; and 262 was for the Third-Class passengers. Thomas Andrews designed this ship, and it was built up in Belfast, Ireland. On the ship, there were 10 decks, on which people danced, walked, talked and musicians played music. The ship had four funnels, but the fourth funnel was not working because it was built to make the ship seem more powerful and strong. The ship left Southampton on the night of April 14, 1912 to go to New York. This was her maiden voyage. People said that even God cannot sink this ship. Ody and Rico

Ody and Rico Ody and Rico are my birds. Ody is green and black and yellow and blue. Rico is white and blue. Ody is is a fat bird but not too fat. Rico is very good because he eats too much. I like both and they are my favourite pets. Ody is biting everyone when people touch her cage. But Rico is a very good bird because he is not biting but he is always running away and never stops screaming. Eymen and his new school I’m Eymen Erdem. I am nine and I am studying in 2/B. This year I am going to Erenler Schools, which has a big canteen and a lovely playground. There are hundreds of children; they are very good boys and girls. I have great teachers, who teach everyone very well. There are twenty-four children in my classroom. Do you know about the deepest hole in the world? Its name is Mariana Trench, which is found in the western Pacific Ocean. Its depth is 10,984 metres . Mariana Trench is taller than Mountain Everest in India, which is 8,844 metres. Can you imagine? It is unbelievable. It is scary, too. Because there can live a Megalodon. In the world, only two men went into this hole in 1960. Jacques Piccard and Don Walsh descended this hole and they stayed on the bottom for 20 minutes.
